Q: In which countries is DPN available?

A: DPN is currently available only in The Netherlands. All the numbers (for calling, receiving calls and SMS settings) are the numbers in The Netherlands, thus, from international perspective – should be preceded with +31 prefix.

Q: Is DPN subscription-based service?

A: DPN does not ask for a subscription. Number assignment is free – anyone may apply for a DPN number.

Q: What are the costs connected to using DPN?

A: If used only for receiving calls – there are no costs for a DPN-user/subscriber. However, the calling party will incur low-rate premium-number toll charges (example: 10 ct/min). This is an added value in many situations where you want to receive calls only from someone who is willing to accept those charges.
When dialing out – same applies to you, as a DPN-user: Your outgoing calls are charged on low-rate premium rates (example: 10 ct/min).

Q: Some people are calling me, but they say that I cannot be reached?

A: This largely depends on your default settings for call-receiving, and also the state of your mobile phone (if used with app-only). If your mobile phone is not reacting in a timely manner (possibly overloaded with processing other stuff), you should set to receive calls on your mobile instead of exclusively via the app (it’s still shielding your number to any third party), you will lose some real-time options on call-receiving, but will be surely always reachable.

Additionally, if you’re not reachable on your regular mobile-number, you will also not be reachable on your DPN number.

Q: What if I don’t want to be disturbed at all on my DPN number for the timebeing?
